Ok, I know it’s late, but here’s my list of favorites from this year’s 2008 Superbowl Commercials. I’ll keep updating the list as I get them in.

First off, I want to congratulate the Indianapolis Colts for their amazing comeback win over the Chicago Bears in last night’s Big Game.

As far as the commercial ads go, I was overly impressed at all. I felt a bit let down with the lack of “Funny” and “Creative” commercials this year. I’d have to say it was one of the worst years for big ads during the game. And it’s almost not even worth mentioning the way-over-hyped GoDaddy.com ad that was just lame.

I was able to pick a couple “Best” and “Worst” overall, although worst could go to at least one third (I’m being modest) of those shown. What I call best is actually made me laugh! Here they are:

BEST / FUNNY:

Bud Lite Classroom – Carlos Mencia Teaching English

Rock, Paper Siscors – Bud Lite

FedEx – Not What it Seems

Emerald Nuts – “Boogeyman”

WORST:

Flomax

The best TV ad as of the beginning of the 3rd quarter is this Bud Lite Commercial – Rock, Paper Scissors:

Yep it’s here again … the Super Bowl. Millions of people around the world surrounding the tv to watch some the best (and worst) television advertising of the year occasionally interrupted with a football game.

We plan to offer you some of those right here on the TV Commercial Blog, so be sure and stop back.

By the way, last yearâ€™s Super Bowl commercials are still up on Google Video (video.google.com/superbowl.html). I’m sure Google will replace these ads with Super Bowl XLI ads tomorrow (hopefully they archive the old ones). Yahoo will also be hosting the actual Super Bowl ads once the game starts at Yahoo Video which is pretty cool. It sure is a lot easier to find, grab and replay video ads now then it was just a year ago.
