I think the voice is that of Richard Thomas( “john Boy” from The Waltons tv show , from the 70s)

i too thought of Steve. My wife and I met him at the Brklyn NY studio where Another World was filmed in 1986. I just read it’s Richard Thomas and it does sound like him with a cold.

I, too, think it’s Stephen Schnetzer (Cass Winthrop). The first time I saw the commercial, the theme song to “Another World” came into my mind. However, there are lots of differing opinions as to who’s voice it is. Can’t we find a definitive answer somewhere?

The voice is an exact match to the CBS PGA TOUR golf announcer Peter Kostis. It sounds like a stretch, but it’s an exact match,

I knew it was Johnboy and thought I would have trouble verifying this. I am glad to know others had the same thoughts… weird but kinda cool.

People…. have you not seen the more recent commercials (since this thread started 3 yrs ago) the newer commercials are showing Stephen Schnetzer on the screen. You will recognize the face and the name from the post listed by Yvonne last August of 2008 (if you follow the link). I don’t even understand why there is still a debate on this if you have watched any television in the last 6 months…
